On the territory of the Medeu sports complex, surrounded by the picturesque nature: fairy-tale spruces and valleys, huge mountains, an entirely new contemporary music festival will take place with the participation of the headliner - Steve Aoki, american DJ and producer, Grammy Award-winner. According to the organizers, the Festival will be an annual event and will become a platform for fans of modern and fashionable music. On this several-hour open air marathon, together with Aoki, the heroes of the world and Kazakhstan dance charts will perform: Russian EDM-trio Swanky Tunes, St. Petersburg hitmakers Slider & Magnit, Going Deeper, popular Kazakhstan DJs - DJ Romal and DJ Ice.

After meeting of your guide at the meeting point no later than 10 minutes before the tour departure time, your will start the tour with a ride to the Medeo Gorge (1690 meters above sea level) well known due to the highest mountain skating rink in the world and the dam, protecting the city from dangerous mudflow. Brief walk around with a chance to take your mountain-view pictures and breath the fresh pine-tree air, then you will take a cable car to Shymbulak ski resort area.

Having ridden about 20-25 minutes above magnificent fur-trees up to the altitude of 2260 meters above sea level, you will get to the 1st level of ski resort, occupied by fancy restaurants, ski & snowboarding school and mountain hotel. The resort is very popular for its mild climate, large quantity of sunny days and snow through the winter, and remarkable scenery of mountain ranges. You will have a quick chance to walk there and take pictures with breathtaking mountain peaks around. Then you will go down the same way by cable car and drive to the city. Meanwhile you will be told an interesting story why Almaty is actually called «the Apple city».
