Ballet Globe Gala

For the first time in Almaty, a week-long festival of modern and classical ballet Ballet Globe will be held with a large-scale program of plays and performances by individual artists. For seven days Almaty will become a center of ballet art - it will be visited by prima ballerina of the Bolshoi Theatre and the elite of La Scala Svetlana Zakharova. Prima ballerina of the Bolshoi Olga Smironova, premiers of the Bolshoi Theatre Denis Rodkin, Mikhail Lobukhin, Artemiy Belyakov and many other artists, whose names will be revealed later. The entire festival will be dedicated to the legend of Russian ballet Maya Plisetskaya.

March 28th and 29th - the festival Ballet Globe will open with the legendary performance "Carmen Suite" with the participation of prima ballerina of the Bolshoi Theatre, the elite of La Scala Theatre, People's Artist of Russia Svetlana Zakharova.

Ballet Globe Gala

The idea of creating the Imperial Russian Ballet was born in 1994 during Maya Plisetskaya's jubilee concerts in Japan - their brilliant program was prepared by Gediminas Taranda, an outstanding dancer and teacher. This year the Imperial Russian Ballet celebrates its 25th anniversary.

The group actively tours and has performed at the best venues in the world, including Japan, Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Austria, Finland, USA, Portugal, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Luxembourg, Lithuania, Estonia, Canada, Israel, China, Greece, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Lebanon, UAE, Tunisia, Turkey, Thailand, Singapore, Mexico, South Africa, New Zealand and Australia, Cyprus and Malta.

LA SCALA Gala Concert

The Teatro La Scala is the world’s center of opera culture, soaked in greatness and luxury. Soloists of the theatre invariably collect large crowds all over the world, they tear down ovations.

The concert program includes the works that are rightfully considered to be the gold fund of world classics: solo parts and duets from G. Verdi's operas "La Traviata", "Rigoletto", "Troubadour", J. Laureate of international competitions Monserrat Caballé (2012), Luciano Pavarotti (2012), Francisco Vignas (2013), Riccardo Dzandonai (2013), Renata Tebaldi (2013), Marceloo Giordani (2014), Paris opera Awards (2014). Her extraordinary voice can be heard in the best theaters of Italy: the Reggio Theatre in Parma, the Teatro Municipale in Piacenza, the Massimo Bellini Theatre in Catania, the LA SCALA Theatre in Milano.
