The main role in the sensational film "Bohemian Rhapsody" was played by Rami Malek, who, incredibly successfully, got used to the image of a rock idol of the century. But long before the shoot, Mark Martel joined the making of the film. His voice is almost impossible to distinguish from the vocals of Freddie Mercury. This was acknowledged by listeners, fellow musicians, drummer Roger Taylor and tape producer Graham King. Most of the vocals for the film were performed by Marc Martel.

It was Martel who had the reputation of Mercury's vocal counterpart and became the soloist of the Queen Extravaganza tribute band. Video with a fragment of Somebody to Love, performed by Martel, in a matter of days gathered over a million views on the net.
