"Orchestra Festival" is a vivd and memorable event, which, traditionally, takes place within the framework of the celebration of the City Day. This year one of the most favorite autumn events for the citizens will be held for the tenth time and will celebrate its first major anniversary.

Traditionally, the festival will be held for 2 days, during which the works of the best composers of folk music and favorite melodies of the world heritage will be performed.

On the first day of the festival, the best of the folk art of the Great Steppe will be performed on stage by cues (traditional Kazakh musical instrument) from Dauletkerey, Kurmangazy, Nurgisa Tlendieva.

The second day will bring the great variety of music flavors, and the following will be performed one by one: the composition of A. Zatsepin devoted to the Southern capital "Gul Almatym", "Balkhadisha" by Akan Sery and creativity of popular artists: Victor Tsoi and the group "Kino", Sting, the group Queen and everyone's favorite soundtracks from the movies ("8 miles", "Pirates of the Caribbean", "Titanic", "Godfather" and others). The children will not remain aloof, they will hear their favorite compositions from cartoons such as: "The Lion King", "Aladdin", "Little Mermaid", "Madagascar".

The ensemble of the Almaty mayor’s pop-symphony orchestra under the direction of Alexander Belyakov and the Kazakh State Academic Folk Instruments Orchestra under the direction of conductor Abylai Tlepbergen will be the permanent participants of the festival.

Rudolf Nureyev left a huge legacy behind him, forever changing not only the rules of acting in the best theater of the world, but also the standards of classical dance in world ballet.

Leap into Freedom play is a story about uselessness of wealth and glory in the face of death. At the dawn of his fame, the actor falls ill with a serious and incurable disease.

The main theme of this performance is in the extent of personality, which does not lose its dignity and strength even five minutes before death. This is a story about the last stage exit of a super star.
