By the already established good tradition, during the December holidays, Ilya Averbukh presents vibrant musical performances on ice with the participation of figure skating stars.

Ilya Averbukh carried out the idea of a new ice show for several years and decided to present the new show to the 200th anniversary of the fairy tale by Ernst Theodor Hoffmann. The Nutcracker and the Mouse King was first premiered in Moscow on December 2016 and became one of Ilya Averbukh's most spectacular and expensive projects. Costumes were created by the best designers in France, and tons of equipment were used for complex multi-level setup.

Moscow viewers and critics enthusiastically accepted the new production, and "The Nutcracker" became one of the most successful ice shows for the whole family. The performance is a fascinating and mysterious fairy tale. The well-known plot will be shown in new colors and in unusual interpretation. From the first minutes the audience will be immersed in the atmosphere of wonders and magic, they will be waiting for a real fairy-tale of light and sound, live vocals, circus and acrobatic performances, real fire flames will be lit up on the ice field.

Margarita Drobyazko, Povilas Vanagas, Roman Kostomarov, Oksana Domnina, Maria Petrova, Alexei Tikhonov, Albena Denkova, Maxim Stavisky, Vladimir Besedin and Alexei Polischuk will take part in the performance. For the first time, Elizabeth Tursynbayeva, Kazakh 2019 World Champion figure skater, will join the troupe for the tour in Almaty.
