The musical performance "Call Me George" is a narrative about the fate, success and creative self searching of the brilliant composer and pianist George Gershwin. This is a tribute to the first American classic and one of the most famous people of the New World, achieved as a result of his unique talent. History of the creation of this masterpiece, the first American opera "Porgy and Bess" - is the peak of Gershwin's creativity.

This performance has everything to give the audience a whole range of emotions: fascinating theatrical performance, world jazz classics, beautiful choreography with elements of "Broadway», live music. And of course great Armstrong, Fitzgerald, Rachmaninov, and Charlie Chaplin.

This year, modern dance theatre Samruk marks twenty years of creative activity. Long-beloved duet and solo acts will be included in the evening’s program.

The first part of the concert will contain one-act ballets, as well as choreographic miniatures.

Jazz Cafe play will be performed in the second part of the concert: It’s a Cafe, where people gather in the evenings to listen to music, and to dance. Cafe, where there is a momentary relationship, quarrels and deception. But in this bustle there is a place to meet two lonely hearts.

Lead actors are: Elena Ezau, George Yashchenko, Ruslan Takyrbasov, Adlet Tamenov, Diana Khamis and artists of the theater of modern dance Samruk.
