Leap into Freedom Performance

Numerous questions from enthusiastic spectators who watched the play “Leap into Freedom. We will see a different Nureyev: an inexperienced young boy, a brilliant dancer of the Kirov Theater and a great artist, whose popularity was compared to a popularity of the Beatles. His name did not leave front pages of newspapers; he became the first Russian dancer who directed the National French Theater, the Grand Opera. Rudolf Nureyev left a huge legacy behind him, forever changing not only the rules of acting in the best theater of the world, but also the standards of classical dance in world ballet.

Leap into Freedom play is a story about uselessness of wealth and glory in the face of death. At the dawn of his fame, the actor falls ill with a serious and incurable disease.
