Ballet Globe Gala

For the first time in Almaty, a week-long festival of modern and classical ballet Ballet Globe will be held with a large-scale program of plays and performances by individual artists. For seven days Almaty will become a center of ballet art - it will be visited by prima ballerina of the Bolshoi Theatre and the elite of La Scala Svetlana Zakharova. Prima ballerina of the Bolshoi Olga Smironova, premiers of the Bolshoi Theatre Denis Rodkin, Mikhail Lobukhin, Artemiy Belyakov and many other artists, whose names will be revealed later. The entire festival will be dedicated to the legend of Russian ballet Maya Plisetskaya.

Programme:

March 28th and 29th - the festival Ballet Globe will open with the legendary performance "Carmen Suite" with the participation of prima ballerina of the Bolshoi Theatre, the elite of La Scala Theatre, People's Artist of Russia Svetlana Zakharova.

The performances in Kazakhstan are a part of the anniversary world tour "25 Years of the Imperial Russian Ballet", which includes tours to Spain, Brazil, China, St. Petersburg, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Australia and New Zealand.

The idea of creating the Imperial Russian Ballet was born in 1994 during Maya Plisetskaya's jubilee concerts in Japan - their brilliant program was prepared by Gediminas Taranda, an outstanding dancer and teacher. This year the Imperial Russian Ballet celebrates its 25th anniversary.

The group actively tours and has performed at the best venues in the world, including Japan, Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Austria, Finland, USA, Portugal, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Luxembourg, Lithuania, Estonia, Canada, Israel, China, Greece, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Lebanon, UAE, Tunisia, Turkey, Thailand, Singapore, Mexico, South Africa, New Zealand and Australia, Cyprus and Malta.

Turetsky Choir Concert

They are called the record-breakers of popularity: in 28 years more than 6000 stage appearances and 4 000 000 traveled kilometers.

LA SCALA Gala Concert

The Teatro La Scala is the world’s center of opera culture, soaked in greatness and luxury. Soloists of the theatre invariably collect large crowds all over the world, they tear down ovations.

The concert program includes the works that are rightfully considered to be the gold fund of world classics: solo parts and duets from G. Verdi's operas "La Traviata", "Rigoletto", "Troubadour", J. Bizet "Carmen", G. Puccini "Tosca", "Boheme", G. Donizetti "Love Drink", V.A. Mozart "Don Giovanni", P. Tchaikovsky "Eugene Onegin", popular Italian songs and others.

Italian baritone Giovanni Guillardo has been a favorite of the public and a famous performer for many years. He is a soloist at the La Scala Theatre in Milan, the Teatrodell'Opera in Rome, the Massimo Palermo Theatre, the Carlo Felice Theatre in Genoa, the Bellini Theatre in Cagliari, the Catania Theatre, the Filarmonico Theatre in Verona, the Piacenza Municipal Theatre, the Parma Theatre, the Puccini Torredel Lago Festival, the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing. Touring with influential conductors Bruno Campanella, Daniel Harding, Danielloren, Hubert Sudan and Myung-Won Chung.

Massimiliano Pisapia, an exquisite performer of Italian operas, has made a brilliant career in the theaters of LA SKALA in Milan, the Opernhaus in Zurich, the Munich State Opera, the Hamburg State Opera and the Vienna State Opera, at the Opernhouse Leipzig, the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, the Teatro del Mai Musicale Fiorentino, the Municipal Theatre in Santiago de Chile, the Palau de l'Art Reyna Sofia in Valencia, the Teatro Reggio in Turin, the Arena di Verona, the Teatro Reggio in Parma, the Opera Bastille in Paris.

Amazing soprano Marina Nachkebia studied at the Moscow Conservatory (class of Professor Zurab Sotkilava). In 2014, she completed her post-graduate studies there as well. Laureate of international competitions Monserrat Caballé (2012), Luciano Pavarotti (2012), Francisco Vignas (2013), Riccardo Dzandonai (2013), Renata Tebaldi (2013), Marceloo Giordani (2014), Paris opera Awards (2014). Her extraordinary voice can be heard in the best theaters of Italy: the Reggio Theatre in Parma, the Teatro Municipale in Piacenza, the Massimo Bellini Theatre in Catania, the LA SCALA Theatre in Milano.

The Travels of Corkt Ballet Performance

The show will be performed by Bulat Ayukhanov world-famous ballet.

The Travels of Korkyt ballet, which is based on folk legends, touches upon various aspects of human life. The main character of the ballet opens up four ways for him to live his life, where he meets the circumstances that somehow destroy the spiritual world of the individual. Overcoming doubts and disappointments, wandering from the medieval age to the present, Korkyt finds the true path to perfection and eternal life. Thus, Korkyt became the first shaman bucks, the ancestor of a goat.
