The Great Silk Road is a historically established international trade route of the East and West, and played a major role in the development of economic and cultural ties between the nations.

Merchants and buyers from different countries hurried to the noisy and colorful Oriental bazaar to trade silk and porcelain from distant China, spices from India, ceramics from Khorezm, works of fine art and many other rare goods. This ancient cultural tradition continues to flourish til this day.

More than 50 craftsmen from all regions of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Russia and Georgia will participate in the fair. The exhibition will feature a wide range of gift and souvenirs such as: clothing, jewelry, musical instruments, oriental miniature items and oriental carpets, felt and silk products, textile and lamps, amulets and leather products. Arts and crafts masters classes will be offered to the exhibition visitors as well.
