The thousandth "army" of musicians will be led by a talented Kazakhstan conductor, who has received world recognition, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Alan BURIBAEV.
The live interaction of musicians from different countries can give birth to amazing creative discoveries.
British composer Karl Jenkins, according to the radio Classic FM, is among the ten most popular composers of our time. His music is widely known not only in Britain and Europe, but throughout the world. Karl Jenkins visited Kazakhstan for the first time in 2004. The original beauty of traditional Kazakh music inspired the composer to create a number of original works dedicated to the Great Steppe country ("Abai", "Shakarim", "Tlep" "Tugan zher").
In the musical tissue of the score of his new composition SHINE ASTANA, Karl Jenkins organically contributes citations: the Codex Cumanicus melodic ("The Dictionary of the Kypchak Languages" is a written monument of the Kumansky (Starokypchak) language of the early 14th century); fragments from Kazakh songs and kyu, as well as from works previously written for Kazakhstan.
The solemn ode "SHINE ASTANA" consists of four parts:
Part I "The Sacred History of the Great Steppe"
Part II "Echoes of Ages"
Part III "The symbol of young Kazakhstan"
Part IV "Triumph of the Mogilik El"
Duration - 1 hour 15 minutes
